Concept
ISO9001 Certification Overview
ISO9001 quality management system certification is known as the "passport to the international market". The ISO9000 family of standards is a concept proposed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 1994. It refers to "international standards formulated by ISO/Tc176 (International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Quality Management and Quality Assurance). It is one of the most influential standards issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Since its release, it has been widely used around the world and has a huge impact on the development of international trade and the improvement of quality.
ISO9001:2015 introduces the concept of risk thinking, pays more attention to the operational risks and performance of organizations, and emphasizes the role of leadership in the management system. At the same time, it fully considers the ever-changing business environment to help organizations respond to the ever-changing needs of customers, enhance corporate competitiveness, and maintain survival and development. Therefore, the quality management system is no longer limited to the traditional manufacturing industry. More and more companies in industries such as services, medical care, and public utilities have also introduced the new version of ISO9001 standards and integrated quality management into corporate operations.
The ISO9001 quality management system is based on seven quality management principles:
1. Customer orientation
2. Leadership
3. Employee commitment
4. Process approach
5. Improvement
6. Evidence-based decision making
7. Relationship management
